Warehousing and Distribution

IMS have the capabilities of coordinating warehousing and distribution requirements on an extremely large scale if required. This can include storing and the distribution of such items as bulky FSDUs, leaflet dispensers, shelf wobblers and shelf barkers, to name but a few. This is made possible due to our close relationship with our distribution partner POS Direct. 

POS Direct are an established company specialising in Fulfilment (Order Processing and Pick & Pack) Distribution (via Royal Mail, Courier, Haulier, Own Fleet), E Commerce (Web design, hosting, managing, real time ordering and reporting) and Storage (Warehousing & Stock Management) of Point of Sale/Point of Purchase Materials, Display & Promotional Items, Stationery, Print & Consumer Goods throughout the UK, Europe and Worldwide.

They undertake these services for many blue chip companies from a host of sectors and their services range from one-off single item projects to ongoing multiple product line operations. POS Direct operate out of 5 state-of-the-art facilities in Leicestershire. In total their premises provide 150,000 sq. ft. of operational capacity, incorporating Management, Administration, I.T and Operational functions.

Their secure warehousing has ambient temperature and capacity for 12,000 pallets. They currently store approximately 50,000 product lines for their customers. They receive, process, pick & pack, dispatch and distribute circa 1,000,000 consignments every year via Royal Mail, Couriers and Hauliers to both business and residential addresses.
