Field sales teams make sure that you're your products have maximum on-shelf availability and increased rate of sale.

Field sales teams conduct activities where they become your point of purchase and engage directly with your customers and potential customers to sell your product or service. Field sales teams can work in the business to business environment (for example selling your product directly to independent retailers and fulfilling supply using transfer orders) or within the business to consumer environment (for example directly approaching consumers to get them to sign-up to a purchase or membership agreement).
 
Field sales teams can also conduct activity such as merchandising and POS placement.
